The 40th Anniversary of Shlock Rock

In January 1986 Shlock Rock was born. The album Learning is Good was released! The album came out on cassette. Side A had on it Learning is Good, Abarbanel, Eliyahu HaNavi, Let's Learn, New Moon, Bless on it/ Boogie in the Shul. On Side B was Making Aliyah Today, Bench, Kotel in the Night, Old Time Torah Scroll and High Holy Days. The album caught fire over the summer and Shlock Rock slowly but surely made its way onto the Jewish Music stage! And so, with 41 albums that have been released and number 42 about to come out we are proud to kick off the 40th annversary of Shlock Rock!
